    1. What SynthAI Is

    SynthAI is an AI-powered marketing automation platform. It uses large language models (LLMs) and AI image/video generation models to help businesses create content, run campaigns, analyse performance, and automate marketing workflows.

    SynthAI is an AI system as defined under the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). It falls into the general-purpose AI category and does not fall within the "high risk" categories defined in Annex III of the Act.

    3. What Is AI-Generated

    The following outputs within SynthAI are generated by AI models:

    • Text content: blog posts, ad copy, social captions, email drafts, campaign strategies
    • Images: ad creatives, social graphics, product images
    • Videos: product demos, social reels, ad videos
    • Proactive Inbox suggestions: daily briefings and follow-up recommendations
    • Analytics summaries and performance insights

    AI-generated content is always presented as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before publishing it. SynthAI does not automatically publish content without your explicit action.

    4. Limitations and Risks

    • Hallucinations: AI models may generate factually incorrect information. Always verify facts, statistics, and claims before publishing.
    • Bias: AI models may reflect biases present in their training data. Review content for fairness and accuracy before use.
    • Copyright: AI-generated images and text may resemble existing works. You are responsible for ensuring your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable copyright laws.
    • No professional advice: SynthAI assistants do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice. Outputs should not be treated as professional counsel.

    5. Human Oversight

    SynthAI is designed to assist humans, not replace human judgement. The platform operates on a human-in-the-loop model: AI assistants generate suggestions and drafts, but all publishing, campaign launches, and workflow executions require explicit user action. No AI system on SynthAI operates autonomously without user confirmation.

    6. EU AI Act Compliance

    SynthAI complies with the EU AI Act's transparency requirements for general-purpose AI systems (Chapter V). Specifically:

    • We disclose when content or suggestions are AI-generated
    • We use commercially available foundation models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) with their own EU AI Act compliance obligations
    • This disclosure page fulfils our Article 50 transparency obligations
    • We maintain human oversight at all content publication points

    7. Data Used to Train AI

    SynthAI does not use your conversations, content, or business data to train AI models. Your data is used solely to generate responses for your account. Anthropic (Claude's provider) operates under its own data use policy — by default, API inputs are not used to train Anthropic's models.
